About perspective collection

Welcome to the space where simplicity is everywhere. This collection of drawings invites you to observe your mind as it plays with the shapes it sees. Maybe a feeling will emerge, and surely a perspective will form.

The drawings are created with black liner and watercolor on hemp paper. The symbols were designed by playing with geometry tools on a math paper or as a result of a meditation session.

Even though the drawings are simple, a special energy emanates from each one. By looking at them, it can carry you to forgotten memories or spark an emotion. They can be used as a mirror or as a psychological tool.

“Perspectives” reflects the multiple interpretations of these drawings. Each viewer will see something different, depending on their interests, repetitive thoughts, and imagination.

This collection was exhibited in Brașov in 2023. Visitors were invited to play with each symbol by answering the following questions:
“What does this shape express to you?”;
“What perspective do you have on the drawing?”;
“If you allow yourself, what will the mind create with the shapes in the drawing?”

After the exhibition, I noticed that gazing longer at a drawing evokes a particular mood, as confirmed by several people. So, dear observer, once you choose a drawing from this collection that captivates you, I invite you to reflect: What thoughts arise in your mind? What emotions begin to surface in your body?

The artist recommends choosing an image that evokes a positive mood and placing it somewhere you can see it often, so you’re continually infused with that uplifting energy.

What does the artist see in this image?

I have always been attracted to this shape – the circle. I consider it a complete shape even though it is infinite. In sacred geometry, the circle represents the feminine energy, the mother, from where all things are born. It is the only drawing in the collection where I used the “spikes” of hemp paper, in such a way that the colors do not completely cover the surface of the circle. It is like a veil through which you can only see if you look closer. The metaphor of the veil is carried further because up close, you will see 4 more circles, arranged vertically. Between these hidden circles, there are also 2 vesica piscis
