Welcome to the space, where simplicity is everywhere. This collection of drawings invites you to observe your mind as it plays with the shapes it sees. Maybe a feeling will emerge, and surely a perspective will form.
The drawings are created with black liner and watercolor on hemp paper. The symbols were created by playing with geometry tools on a math paper or as a result of a meditation session.
“Perspectives” reflects the multiple interpretations of these drawings. Each viewer will see something different, depending on their interests, repetitive thoughts, and imagination.
This collection was exhibited in Brașov in 2023. Visitors were invited to create a story with each symbol by answering the following questions:
“What does this shape express to you?”;
“What perspective do you have on the drawing?”;
“If you allow yourself, what will the mind create with the shapes in the drawing?”
After the exhibition, I noticed that gazing longer at a drawing evokes a particular mood, as confirmed by several people. So, dear observer, once you choose a drawing from this collection that captivates you, I invite you to reflect: What thoughts arise in your mind? What emotions begin to surface in your body?
