About ABSTRACT exhibition

Every word has a definition, but in essence, its notion, whatever it may be, is abstract. The way we understand is through association. If we look at an image that our mind cannot associate with anything, we return to the essence and call it abstract. This abstract becomes the incomprehensible, the unknown, the category where we place things that go beyond the realm of the mind. The abstract gives us a choice: either to run away, or it stirs our curiosity.

If you choose curiosity, then the exploration begins, and at the same time, you respond to the artist’s invitation to allow your imagination to flow. From what you see exhibited, you can create a thousand stories, or you can create other images, filled with the emotion of the child within you. Everything you interpret or create is about you, about that everyday “I”, which perhaps you have not fully seen.

The titles of the photographs are intentionally simple.
This choice allows the viewer’s imagination to remain free. When an image is paired with a specific title, the mind immediately begins to connect the two, shaping a fixed interpretation. By keeping the names minimal, the creative process stays open—inviting each person to form their own unique vision and meaning.

Artist’s note

I know that the story behind each image is important. But what if you are the author of that story? What if you can explore what you see beyond what it is captured or how it is done? I want the observer (which is you) to get lost in a picture, to explore oneself through the photograph. Therefore, the picture becomes a mirror of ourselves.
