Despre colecția perspective
Welcome to the space where simplicity is everywhere. This collection of drawings invites you to observe your mind as it plays with the shapes it sees. Maybe a feeling will emerge, and surely a perspective will form.
The drawings are created with black liner and watercolor on hemp paper. The symbols were designed by playing with geometry tools on a math paper or as a result of a meditation session.
Even though the drawings are simple, a special energy emanates from each one. By looking at them, it can carry you to forgotten memories or spark an emotion. They can be used as a mirror or as a psychological tool.
This collection was exhibited in Brașov in 2023. Visitors were invited to play with each symbol by answering the following questions:
“What does this shape express to you?”;
“What perspective do you have on the drawing?”;
“If you allow yourself, what will the mind create with the shapes in the drawing?”
The artist recommends choosing an image that evokes a positive mood and placing it somewhere you can see it often, so you’re continually infused with that uplifting energy.
Notă artist asupra acestei imagini
There was a time when this symbol “followed me” because I saw it everywhere. In many religions, the octagon is a special symbol. Usually, it brings good fortune, wards off evil, or balances the space. In sacred geometry, it represents the marriage between the circle and the square, the feminine with the masculine, the heaven and the earth, it’s a symbol of unity. I’ve seen it in different countries and cultures, on old houses or on the pavement before entering a house, on traditional scarves and rugs.
